Summary

Socio-economic analysis: Socio-economic data give insights on the relations among irrigation water availability and use, population, and economic development and welfare. Water withdrawals, are mapped and provide the basis for assessing the sustainability of the management strategies and of the climate scenarios effects. Socioeconomic indicators such as population, GDP, agriculture production in the region were explored and the future trends were determined based on socioeconomic scenarios.
