Analysis of hydro-climatic variables in the Island of  Crete is necessary to quantify its water resources.

This analysis is also a first step to the assessment of managed aquifer recharge (MAR) at Messara basin.

Data sources include remote sensing information, records from hydro-climatic stations and from RCP scenarios.
